As a man Thinketh - the book

This book, As a Man Thinketh is inspired by the biblical phrase that was translated this way in the old King James version of the Bible. But don't let this keep you from downloading these few pages and reading it several times as I am sure you will glean much that you can use each and every day.

These are simple truths (and while biblically based are not really based on the theological concepts of the Bible as much as on the works that are written.

Not much is known about the author, James Allen, but this little booklet has motivated many to change the direction of their lives.

Here is one quote I especially like: "Men are anxious to change their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound".

And one other: "A particular train of thought persisted in, be it good or bad, cannot fail to produce its results on the character and circumstances. A man cannot directly choose his circumstances, but he can choose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet surely, shape his circumstances".
