Building Online Business using Michael Gerber's Golden Pyramid

The key concepts from my current mentor, Michael Gerber (of EMyth fame) are systems and design. This is the basic formula by which he taught thousands of offline business owners to build their businesses. The third item is it must be scaleable, that is, to grow big the business must be designed to be scaled so others can reproduce the same thing in the same way as the original entrepreneur.

If this is the proven method of building an offline business then certainly building online business should be done similarly. The day-to-day operations when building online business must be set-up in such a way that we can focus our attention on growing the business, can take a vacation when we want, go to lunch when we want, OR start the next business! (This is the key thought from Michael Gerber’s previous work: Small business owners need to learn how to work ON their business and not IN their business – quite a jewel).

I can tell you from personal experience, now after 30 years of small business ownership is is much easier said than done to work ON your business rather than work IN your business, but the EMyth principles will get you on target.
