Google Adsense Money is Extra Income or Main Income

Google adsense money comes as payment from Google for placing "related" ads on your pages of your website and there are two primary business models used to employ this stream of income.

One Model (extra income)

The first method that Google adsense can be used on your site is as a very passive ad that comes up on the page of your site regarding a given subject such as you see on this page of my site but you do not see these ads on many of my pages because Google adsense money is not a significant part of my overall strategy for generating income.

Basically, you get paid $x amount when someone clicks on the ad which means they have now exited your site! This is why, for my site, I'm not too interested in this methodology because I so so much valuable content on my site that I want folks to absorb all they can.

I can actually take it one step further to say that most of the ads that would show up on most of my pages I don't actually even believe is the best thing for my clientele.

Where Do You Go From here?

What I mean by this is that a clickable link is probably going to have some strong sales copy when you get there and since sales copy is written on an emotional basis because we are all humans full of emotions, then you may go there and buy something that you really do not need yet.

You see, my whole gig is education - teaching new online entrepreneurs what they need to know in order to make the best decisions for their own money making ventures.

The Other Model(main income)

Now there is another model and that is where adsense becomes your primary method of generating income and you do this by just getting a lot of traffic to your content online. Here is one of my sites by which I use this model Google Adsense Money and My INFOABOUTSITE
So, in this case, I'm using an entirely different business model. The information is different. The way I drive traffic to that site is different and the reasons for which I want people to go to that site is very different than the site you are now on.

So, you see it is important to think about your business plan and your business model before creating a site, before advertising, before spending any money actually.
