Online Business Networking CAN Save You Time & Money BUT Be Careful

Online Business Networking is one of the single most important things to learn and do as you are in the process of starting your own online business. There is too much to know and to learn in the online business world to try and learn it by yourself so networking with others who are already operating in the online business world is essential to your growth and success.

How do you go about connecting with others who are willing to guide you and share ideas that may help you to turn the corner in your own online success?

Before I provide three simple ideas about online business networking let me warn you that a vast majority of what you find (especially starting at the most obvious number one step below), will simply be answering your question and drawing you there because they want to make money from your visit. So, be very wary of the offers made as you read the information as they will all be framed very enticingly, as the answer to all your questions!, but seldom deliver.

First, enter every question you have into the search engines to read, study and learn from this non-connecting way (the vast majority of those searching the web are very anonymous as are those who are providing information) and as you process what you read, hear and see, make note of those folks that you might want to make contact with by bookmarking or keeping a file with notes.

Keep in mind that the listings on the right side of the page you come to are all ads but will usually in the ad seem to be an immediate answer to what you typed into the search. Additionally, the first three on the left are usually paid spots as well. Now, while many of the rest of the listings have not paid to be listed there they still do want to generate income by your coming to visit their page.

Second, go to forums, chat rooms and blogs regarding the subjects of interest where you may find answers to your questions. This is a little more directed but you will need to be on the sites that really do deliver regarding the answers you need.

Finally, feel free to check out everything that does - sound like the answer to all your questions and the solution to all your needs - even in the paid ads! The point here is that you may need to follow all the way through to a click that says buy now, or get the information now, enter your credit card number now, or whatever. But it doesn’t cost you anything to go this far in order to find out how much it will cost and exactly what it is that is being offered. So go as far as necessary, short of providing a credit card number and entering buy now.

In most cases you will not find the online business networking relationship you are looking for unless you have already spoken to a live person or interacted in some way with a real person. But it doesn’t cost you anything to get to that point so that you can make an intelligent decision as to whether or not what is being offered is what you need or not. If you don't research thoroughly then you will never know what is being offered.

It will take time to discover the online business networking connections that are right for you but it is well worth it. Yes, I've paid a few $30 amounts just to get the information and this is okay as well because you can usually learn something if you've determined online that it "may" be what you need.

Sometimes you will need to take a small risk just to check out what is provided, sometimes not. (I signed up for one of the most well known letters on the web - Dan Kennedy and found all I got was hype and ads for buying the next thing but no substantial information that I could actually put to work. So, I cancelled as soon as the free part was over.)

Most everyone needs help starting your own online business because there is simply too much to learn on your own. Invest the time, seek others out, connect with others that can help you get on track and go for the win!
