Think and Grow Rich
The one statement by Napolean Hill that you probably already have memorized is: "whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve".
Napolean Hill was born in poverty in 1883 in a one room cabin on the Pound River in Wise County, Virginia. At age 10 his mother died, and in two years his father had remarried.
He became quite rebellious during these years by as we look back now we see that he got over it and became one of the most influential men of the 20th century and died in 1970.
Napolean Hill began his writing career at age 13 as a "mountain reporter" for small local newspapers. He went on to write The Laws of Success which impacted many of the industrial and financial giants of the 20th century.
This book was written in 1938 after twenty years of interviewing and laboring before going on to sell over 7 million copies. The story of his own son overcoming the odds is familiar and a powerful legacy to his own life and the truths he gleaned and then popularized by his writings.
